“Bring out your people from darknesses into the light and remind them of the days of Allah.”(Quran 14:5)

As-salamu’alaikum,
Beautiful story about unity, love and the power of justice. Shaikh Anwar Al-Awlaki takes us on a powerful journey through this tale, the message that we can extract from it and how we can bring change through Islam and the unity it promotes.

I have told this story to my children many times and have discussed the lessons very thoroughly. I believe it to be a powerful resource for not only children, but for adults as well. We have forgotten what unity is and what this Ummah has stood for since the time of our Beloved Prophet (SAW).

We must revive this Ummah and that is why it is so important to make our children aware of the sacrifices and dedication of the Prophet (SAW) and his Sahaba (RA). Under the guidance of Allah alone they remained steadfast in worship and unity. No one was able to shake them and they conquered the most powerful empires known to the world under the pleasure of Allah.

Reach out to Him and He will reach out to you, Insha’Allah. Please remember the days of Allah…

Khadijah Rising launched in 2013 to empower Muslim Women (and Men) of all ages and walks of life with the beauty and Truth of Islam. It is a call for Sisters (and Brothers) to realize that change for the better is possible, but not without Allah SWT and not without complete submission to His Will and Commands, Insha'Allah.

“For Muslim men and women, for believing men and women, for devout men and women, for true men and women, for men and women who are patient and constant, for men and women who humble themselves, for men and women who give in charity, for men and women who fast, for men and women who guard their chastity, and for men and women who engage much in Allah’s praise, for them has Allah prepared forgiveness and great reward.”
[The Noble Quran 33:35]
